My appointment today was successful due to my calling in personally @ 7:45am. As winter approaches I look forward to the fairer system being adopted in September for early mornings. From a past general practice background, I can firmly say The Barn Surgery is a great practice, who endeavour to see all patients on the day.

Thank you for your positive feedback. As well as booked appointments each weekday morning, we also have open surgery 4 days a week, where you can wait your turn to be seen by a GP. The new booking system from 21 Sept will be monitored closely to ensure it is beneficial for the majority of patients needing to see a doctor that day.

When ever I have to go to the surgery the reception being the first point always welcome you with a smile and do all they can to help, I have never had a bad experience since I registered at the BARN SURGERY FERRING.

Being mobility impaired the doors are a nightmare.

Unfortunately with the type of building we realise access can be difficult for lesser able patients. We constantly evaluate how we can improve access and have considered automatic doors, however these would be very unpopular with patients with young children who could run into the road. Please feel free to ring the bell and we will come and assist you into the building.
